Kid Garden Diary March 2010
• look who spotted in our garden today .. A little frog hiding in the undergrowth of our spring vegetable bed :) • he jumped up so quick we put a little tennis racket net on top so we could see him up close - but he just jumped right on top of it .. Giggle
• We have a large pond at the back of our garden but all our soil is on heavy clay so the earth gets really wet and frogs love that environment ..we do not get to see many frogs through as our pond is full of newts and apparently those two species do not live well togetherGardening for kids Http://www.lucygardens.com
